Algoway

The Algoway was launched by Algoma Central Corporation in 1972. The Algoway was a medium-sized self-unloading bulk carrier that transported mineral rocks, fertilizer, salt and grain products as cargo.

All hazardous materials, salvageable equipment and memorabilia were removed from the Alogway. The ship was dismantled, and the materials recycled.

Work on the Algoway began in March 2017 and was completed December 2017.
